This new catalogue lists telegraph and telephone stamps of the whole world, by country. It is the successor to the old Hiscocks catalogue of 1982. It lists all regular stamps, both those issued by national post offices and those produced by private companies (but does not include prepaid stationery für telegrams, nor telegram seals). It does include telephone stamps, e.g. those of Canada, Great Britain, India-Patiala, Belgium, France etc.
In the catalogue, virtually all items are illustrated in full colour, some sections much expanded since Hiscocks, with up-to-date pricing für mint and für used.
In the past few years, telegraph stamps have suddenly seen an upsurge of interest among informed collectors. The number of issues to collect are quite small compared with postage or revenue stamps, but prices are still relatively modest. A fairly complete collection could still be achieved without excessive outlay, although some items remain rather elusive and will show major price increases over the next few years. Now out of print but work is under way on a new edition.

Dieser neue Katalog listet Telegraphen- und Telefonmarken der ganzen Welt nach Ländern auf. Es ist der Nachfolger des alten Hiscocks-Katalogs von 1982. Es listet alle regulären Briefmarken auf, sowohl die von nationalen Postämtern als auch von privaten Unternehmen (ohne Prepaid-Briefpapier für Telegramme oder Telegrammsiegel). Es ENTHÄLT Telefonstempel, z. die von Kanada, Großbritannien, Indien-Patiala, Belgien, Frankreich usw.
Im Katalog sind praktisch alle Artikel in Farbe abgebildet, einige Abschnitte sind seit Hiscocks stark erweißert worden, mit aktuellen Preisen für Minze und Gebrauchtware.
In den letzten Jahren hat das Interesse von Telegraphenmarken bei informierten Sammlern plötzlich zugenommen. Die Anzahl der zu sammelnden Ausgaben ist im Vergleich zu Briefmarken oder Steuermarken recht gering, aber die Preise sind immer noch relativ bescheiden. Eine ziemlich vollständige Sammlung könnte immer noch ohne übermäßigen Aufwand erreicht werden, obwohl einige Artikel noch schwer fassbar sind und in den nächsten Jahren erhebliche Preiserhöhungen aufweißen werden. Jetzt vergriffen, aber an einer neuen Ausgabe wird gearbeitet.
