This catalogue is meant to summarize and present all variants of the thaler type coins minted by Leopold I. The research was based on the examination of more than 4700 pictures from auction results, public and private collections. As the result of this research, the catalogue comprises altogether 281 variants of the Hungarian thaler type coins and 45 variants of multiple ducats with thaler type faces. This publication provides in-depth analysis including für each variant: unique identifiers, pictures, circumscriptions on the obverse and reverse sides, identifiers of earlier coins, empirical rarity, minimum, average and maximum hammer prices, references, descriptions of distinctive details, origins of the pictures presented (auction or collection).
